Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA invites guests to rock out in support of breast cancer awareness and research! On Thursday, October 28, 2010, Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA will host the first-ever International PINKTOBER™ Living Ribbon, a human chain of breast cancer survivors and their loved ones, as well as any supporters of the cause, which will span across the Rainbow Bridge overlooking Niagara Falls. Proceeds from the historic event will benefit the American and Canadian Cancer Societies, which aim to save lives and end suffering from cancer.

Immediately following the Living Ribbon, popular rock band Five for Fighting and special guest Tone Damli will take the stage for a free performance at Hard Rock Cafe, thanks to local radio station Star 102.5 FM. This charitable evening will come to a close with a special after-party at Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA, featuring a performance by local rock band More Than Me.

Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, Canada will also support PINKTOBER that evening with a live performance by The Kings in the Hard Rock Club. Additionally, in honor of this special day, areas in Downtown Niagara Falls, USA will be illuminated in pink, including Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA, Old Falls Street and the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, as well as the voluminous Niagara Falls.

For the 11th year, Hard Rock locations worldwide support the cause through the multifaceted PINKTOBER campaign, benefiting breast cancer charities. PINKTOBER gives guests a variety of ways to show their support, including limited-edition PINKTOBER apparel and accessories, Pink menu offerings and live music events – all for the cause!

2010 PINKTOBER products, including a collector’s edition pin, T-shirt, bracelet, robe, Pink sheets and more, will be sold exclusively at Hard Rock properties worldwide, including Cafes, Hotels, Casinos and on www.hardrock.com. Proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER merchandise will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. (*75% of the retail price of each Pin sold and 15% of the additional PINKTOBER product will be donated directly to the cause.)
