One of Western New York’s favorite annual traditions, the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market is conveniently located at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo. The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through Dec. 18.

The market features more than 30 vendors offering fruits, vegetables, baked goods, organics, fresh meat, cut flowers, wine, eggs, dairy, honey and much more in an open-air setting. Products available at the Market are always fresh, seasonal and local.

Elmwood-Bidwell is a producer-only market, meaning that all vendors grow or produce what they sell — no middlemen and no compromises. Patrons know they are dealing directly with the source, helping to create a diverse and healthy local economy.

The best thing about the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market? “That everything is local,” said one frequent visitor. “I get to know the people supplying the strawberries for my grandkids, the tomatoes for my salsa. I know where it came from and who grew it.”
