The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus embarks on its seventy-fourth season this year, opening with its Bach Festival, October 17. The Chorus will continue its new concert series Buffalo Sings! Community Concerts alongside its guest appearances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the direction of its Music Director Doreen Rao, the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus is dedicated to integrating artistry, music education, and community service through singing.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is an American symphony orchestra that performs at Kleinhans Music Hall.  Its regular concert season features gala concerts, classics programming of core repertoire, Pops concerts, educational Youth Concerts and family concerts. During the summer months, the Orchestra performs at many parks and outdoor venues across Western New York, with Classics, Pops, opera and ballet offerings at Artpark on the Niagara Gorge in Lewiston.

This year, an eclectic lineup headed by Rufus Wainwright and The National, who will be joined by Atlas Sound and Martha Wainwright, will perform on Friday, June 18. Rockin’ at the Knox is the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s outdoor fundraising celebration and one of the city’s most anticipated events.

The Roycroft Chamber Music Festival was founded in 1994 and 2010 will be its seventeenth season. Held in June each year at St. Matthias Episcopal Church in East Aurora, New York, the festival is recognized for the excellence of its programming and performances, and has become a highlight of Western New York's musical landscape.

O.A.R. is an acronym for the band’s full name, Of a Revolution.  O.A.R. is a prominent jam band, which got their start at Ohio State University as college students.  Often times O.A.R. has been compared to the Dave Matthews Band. 

O.A.R. is the example successful college band and continues to grow in popularity by touring the country.  They are scheduled to release a studio album in the summer of 2010.
