The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus embarks on its seventy-fourth season this year, opening with its Bach Festival, October 17. The Chorus will continue its new concert series Buffalo Sings! Community Concerts alongside its guest appearances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the direction of its Music Director Doreen Rao, the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus is dedicated to integrating artistry, music education, and community service through singing.

Picture this: the lights are low… the audience is hushed…the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra begins to play, quietly, yet  superbly… suddenly, something or someone is coming up from the orchestra pit…slowly, slowly… one sees a flash of sequins, then the top of a broad-brimmed purple chapeau…could it be??? Is it possible???  It IS!  Lance Diamond, clad in his signature sparkled suit, rising from the pit while singing his heart out!  Now THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT!

The

Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra

invites the public to join us for a
