The Buffalo Zoo is offering a "High Five For the Military" discount on the
Veterans Day, November 11, 2010.

Members of the United States military and their group of up to six people will be admitted to the Zoo for $5.00 total. A valid military ID must be presented at the admission gates to receive discount. The Buffalo Zoo thanks you for your service!

For generations, the majestic beauty and humbling power of Niagara Falls State Park has fostered a sense of awe and wonder. Through the years, countless people have enjoyed the sparkling scenery of the falls, making the Niagara Falls vacation spot a favorite for the whole family.

The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site preserves the Ansley Wilcox House in Buffalo, New York, where Theodore Roosevelt became the 26th President of the United States on September 14, 1901.

The Buffalo Zoological Gardens is the third oldest institution of its kind in the United States. The Zoo's mission is to provide the general public with an educationally, culturally and recreationally significant community resource. This is accomplished through the advancement and encouragement of the science of zoology, through the conservation of the world's wildlife and through the innovative exhibition of diverse species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.

This Buffalo waterfront museum of military history features the Destroyer USS The Sullivans, guided missile cruiser USS Little Rock, submarine USS Croaker, tanks, airplanes, and more in the largest inland park of its kind in the nation. All branches of the Armed Forces are honored in the park's museum and numerous exhibits.

More than 1,500 aquatic animals are on display at the Niagara Falls aquarium, representing ecosystems ranging from the Great Lakes to coral reefs. Every 90 minutes you can watch sea lions perform and penguin and shark feeds happen regularly. Other crowd favorites include the piranha, seal and eel exhibits.



Outside of the aquarium is a sight to behold – the Whaling Wall by famed environmental marine life artist Wyland, which will take you into the magical dreamland the animals inside the Niagara Falls aquarium experience every day.
